What Must I Do
Scripture Reading. Romans 10:8-13 One of the most important questions ever asked in Scriptures was that of the jailer to Paul and Silas. "Sirs, what must I do to be saved". To which they replied immediately "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." The Lord Himself said, "I am the way the truth and the life no man cometh to the Father but by me." Salvation is not being committed to a church or to any set of creeds. Or a love for religions things. Salvation brings forgiveness. Which gives you a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God". The way to reach God is through the Lord Jesus. Acts 4:12 says " For there is none other name given under heaven among men whereby you must be saved." For the wages of sin is death but the GIFT of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ. Rom 6:23. It is a free gift to be received through faith. Eph. 2:8,9 says For by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the GIFT of God not of works lest any man should boast. Don't add any church or creeds to this just submit yourself to God's word and receive the Lord in your life. Our Scripture Reading closes with " whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord stall be saved." Do that now.
